Double Degree
OUTGOING STUDENTS
Wroclaw Business University of Applied Sciences in the cooperation with the certain partner universities, realizes the university curriculum based on the Double Degree graduation.
Double Degree Program allows students to study at the partner receiving institution and gain the competences in the international educational environment confirmed by a double diploma from both universities (WAB diploma and a partner university). During these programs students take classes in English and under bilateral agreements they do not pay an additional fee for studying at a partner universities.
Students who wish to study in the frame of the double degree agreement are required to undergo the recruitment process based on the average grade form the first or second study cycle, English language skills and the result of an interview.
Where can you study under the Double Degree Program?
Wroclaw Business University of Applied Sciences has three Bilateral Double Degree Agreements:

- MBA Tourism, Leisure and Event Management (Yschool) and Master of Tourism and Leisure (WAB) – the study offer for the second cycle students from the Tourism and Leisure Department
- Master in Tourism Management (Yschool) and Management, Mater in Tourism Management (WAB) – the study offer for the second cycle students from the Tourism and Leisure as well as Management Department

- B. Eng. In information Technology (Centria) and B. Eng in Computer Engineering (WAB) – the study offer for the B. Eng. from Engineering Department
Mobility to Yschool (France):
1. The first and second students from the Tourism and Leisure Department studying at the Wroclaw Business University of Applied Sciences (about the agreement MA Tourism, Leisure and Event Management (Yschool) and Master of Tourism and Leisure (WAB)) and in this case, students can start the mobility at second or fourth term of studies (always the spring term).
- Students with excellent academic results and at least B2 level of English
- In order to obtain the diploma from the university in Troyes in France (mobility at the second or fourth term of studies), students are obliged to pass all the subjects indicated in the Bilateral Agreement between universities on Luxury Tourism or Business Tourism and Event Management specialization
2. The first and second year MA’s students from the Management Department, Tourism Management specialization at WAB (about the agreement MA in Tourism Management (Yschool) and Management, Master in Tourism Management WAB).
- Students with excellent academic results and at least B2 level of English
- In order to obtain the diploma from the university in Troyes in France (mobility at the second or fourth term of studies), students are obliged to pass all the subjects indicated in the Bilateral Agreement between universities on Luxury Tourism or Business Tourism and Event Management specialization
Mobility to CENTRIA (Finland):
1. The first year WAB students at the first (Bachelor) engineering study circle from Computer Engineering in the Polish language and who has at least B2 level of English.
- Students with excellent academic results and at least B2 level of English
- In order to obtain the diploma from the university in Kokkola in Finland (mobility at the third and fourth term of studies), students are obliged to pass all the subjects indicated in the Bilateral Agreement between universities on Software Engineering or Communications Technology specialization.
When & How long?
Agreement with Yschool:
- 1 Term
- Mobility at the second or fourth term of studies (the spring term)
- The recruitment process starts in October/November.
Agreement with Centria:
- 1 term
- Mobility at the second or fourth term of studies for the whole academical year
- The recruitment process starts in October/November.
The benefits of studying on Double Degree Program:

How to join the program?
A student who is interested in starting its mobility with the Double Degree should at first complete an application form.
The main criteria are the average grade point and at least B2 level of English. The additional criterion is taking an active part in the WAB’s academic life.
Before starting the mobility, the student is obliged to complete the academic year preceding the planned mobility and the absence of the overdue credits in the planned subjects.

- Results Announcement – the list of qualified people for mobilities and the reserve list via e-mail
Conditions to study in the Double Degree: YSCHOOL
- In the framework of the Double Degree with Yschool, WAB can send 2 students to the partner university each year
- The qualified DD students start the mobility at the receiving institution in the spring term (the second or fourth term of studies)
- Students undergo the recruitment process for the DD by filling in the application form
- The qualified students pay the tuition fees of the sending institution (WAB) for the duration of their stay in France
- The qualified students shall deliver the required documents to the university in France
- The qualified DD students to France can apply for the scholarship from Erasmus+ Program (the procedure available in the Erasmus tab/ Outgoing Students)
- In order to obtain the Yschool Diploma the students are obliged to pass all the subjects indicated in the agreement between the partner universities from ‘Luxury Tourism’ or ‘Business Tourism and Event Management’ specialization
- In order to receive the diploma from a partner university – the students – after completing their studies at WAB and obtaining a MA’s degree, are also obliged to take a final exam at the partner university (the range of the exam is determined by the host/receiving university)
- If studies at WAB are in Polish, the students must provide the partner university with the English version of the its dissertation (błąd w PL wersji językowej, bo to jest praca mgr)

Conditions to study in the Double Degree: CENTRIA
- In the framework of the Double Degree with Centria University, WAB can send up to 3 students to the partner university each year
- The qualified DD students to Finland study for 2 terms (the third and fourth term of studies)
- Students undergo the recruitment process for the DD by filling in the application form
- The qualified students for the mobility to Finland for the DD can apply for the scholarship from Erasmus+ Program (the procedure available in the Erasmus tab/ Outgoing Students’)
- The qualified students shall deliver the required documents to the university in Finland
- In order to receive the diploma from a partner university, the students – after completing their studies at WAB and obtaining a B. Eng.’s degree – are also obliged to take a final exam at the partner university (the range of the exam is determined by the host/receiving university)
- If studies at WAB are in Polish, the students must provide the partner university with the English version of an engineering dissertation

- official photo (or ID, for European students);
- passport
- high school diploma and attachment to high school diploma with subjects and grades (for bachelor studies written in English)
- Transcript of Records from Bachelor studies (first year)
- bachelor’s diploma and Bachelor diploma supplement, written in English (for Masters studies)
- Transcript of Records from Master studies (first year)
- certificate of language proficiency (if available)
- Health insurance for period while in Poland
All documents should be translated to English.
Please remember to take original documents while you come to Wrocław.

After receiving all documents Student will receive Acceptance Letter
STEP 4
Together with Double Degree coordinator from sending institution student has to fill out and sign Learning agreement
