Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) 2024
Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) for the first time at Wroclaw Business University of Applied Sciences! From 13 to 17 May 2024, students and lecturers from two partner universities, InHolland University of Applied Sciences and the Dania Academy, took part in the programme focused on ‘Sustainable Development. Multidimensional Impact of Business. Human impact’. The programme consisted of a virtual and physical component. The virtual part was based on playing in the business simulation game ‘REVAS’, and was just a ‘warm-up’ before
the full week’s programme prepared by Vice-Rector Marta Drozdowska, PhD (WAB) and Jesper Dalgaard-Jensen (Dania Academy), Mike Visser (Inholland) the International Relations Office at WAB.
Throughout the week, WAB students and their foreign guests took part in lectures, practical classes, but also a study visit to Kolejowo, thank to which they could work on projects related and based on the Sustainable Development for Kolejkowo. Erasmus+ is not only about broadening academic knowledge, but also about getting to know a country’s culture. Taking part in the Wroclaw City Game allowed them to discover the ‘pearls’ hidden in Wroclaw’s Market Square, but also visiting the oldest restaurant in Poland and participating in the brewery workshops brought them closer to our city’s long history of brewing and ways how to make a sustainable product. Study Tour to the Underground City of Osówka and Szczeliniec Wielki, allowed to get to know the Lower Silesia region. The final day of the programme saw the selection of the winning team, which, according to the jury, had created the best project for Kolejkowo. The jury included Danish, Dutch and Polish teachers, as well as the representatives of Kolejkowo. We congratulate all the teams for their innovative and sustainable projects and hope to host and organise another BIP in the future! The next part of this cooperation will include mobilities to the Dania Academy for Summer School and will focus on ‘Sustainable Marketing’.
