Academic Business Incubator

What is an Incubator?

This is a mentoring program for students who want to develop their entrepreneurship. During the program, students receive the support of a mentor from the business world, with whom they work together in one track of their choice:

  • Developing an idea for your own business,
  • Conducting research in cooperation with an existing company.

Who can participate in the Incubator?

The program is aimed at students who:

  • They are thinking of starting their own company,
  • have an idea for an innovative product or service,
  • Are at the beginning of the journey of running their business,
  • They want to establish cooperation with business while in college.

Students in the 5th semester of undergraduate studies and the 1st semester of graduate studies are invited to participate.

What are the activities in the program?

Within the chosen path (own business idea or conducting research in cooperation with a company), program participants are provided with individual mentoring support from people in the industry. Each of the selected individuals meets several times with a mentor from the business world and together with him or her refines the idea or consults on research. Then the students, under the supervision of an assigned supervisor, write a thesis based on a topic from the Incubator. The entire process culminates in a thesis defense with the mentor, during which participants additionally receive a certificate of participation in the program.

  • Additional certificate confirming participation in the program,
