The Vistula University Group
The Vistula University Group has 26 years of experience in the market. Its pillars are: The Vistula Academy of Finance and Business and the Warsaw School of Tourism and Recreation, located on one campus in Warsaw, which in 2014 was joined by the Wroclaw Business University, and in 2018 also the Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk and the Józef Rusiecki Olsztyn University of Higher Education.
The Vistula University Group combines tradition with the latest trends in the world of science. We are distinguished by the fact that we lead practical courses – we closely cooperate with businesses and international organizations, and our lecturers are outstanding authorities and practitioners. Our schools have a mission in common. We focus on the faculties that will ensure our graduates success on the labour market in the dynamically changing economic environment in Poland and Europe.
Vistula University
Vistula University was founded in 1992 as the second non-public university in Poland. It derives from the tradition and experience of four academic institutions: University of Insurance and Banking (original name of Vistula University), the Higher School of Economics and Information, the European Academy of Arts and the School of Management joined in 2012-2015.
Vistula School of Hospitality
Vistula School of Hospitality (formerly Warsaw School of Tourism and Hospitality Management) was created by merging a few institutions. Mieczyslaw Orłowicz’s Higher School of Tourism and Recreation in Warsaw became its part as the first tourism university that received an honorary award of the Polish Chamber of Tourism “Globus ’98” for its achievements in the education of tourist faculty in Poland. It has also been awarded the Medal of Merit for Tourism.
Wroclaw Business University of Applied Sciences (WAB)
is a business-oriented university with international staff. It offers a wide range of undergraduate studies: Management, Tourism and Recreation, Computer Science, Finance and Accounting, as well as Master’s Degree courses: Management and Tourism and Recreation. The University offers many innovative postgraduate and MBA courses. According to the Perspectives ranking, MBA studies at WAB are ranked in the top 10 in the country. WAB distinguishes an innovative educational plan, which was created thanks to the cooperation of academic staff with business practitioners and employers. Most of the courses are also taught in English.
The Józef Rusiecki Olsztyn School of Higher Education
is one of the largest private universities in the capital of the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship. OSW has been operating for over 21 years and since that time it has become an important academic centre in the region, a place of education for teachers, excellent physiotherapists, cosmetology specialists, philologists, physical education teachers and personal trainers. Within our walls, teachers from all over the region improve their qualifications in nearly 30 fields of postgraduate studies. OSW is a university that skillfully combines education in health, medicine, physical culture with humanities and social sciences.
Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk (AH)
is a recognizable brand, achievements and prestige. This thriving center in a small town has given many young people a chance to study. The Academy continues to occupy a high position in the rankings of higher education institutions. We offer the first- and the second-degree studies in full-time and part-time as well as postgraduate studies in the following fields: administration, national security, history, pedagogy and political science. The Academy shall be authorized to confer the doctorates degree in history and political science.
