Polish language courses at WAB
Polish language courses at Wrocław Business University of Applied Sciences are a guarantee of:
- learning with experienced Polish language teachers with extensive experience at home and abroad
- comfortable and professional learning in group courses, as well as individual courses
- education based on modern curricula, diversified courses, methods and textbooks.
The courses offered by WAB can be attended by anyone who wants to learn Polish, regardless of whether they are currently in Poland or are just about to arrive.
We invite both those who count on systematic learning and those who do not have much time for it.
Individualized programs developed for the selected course provide the opportunity to attend classes that are held regularly, but also those in which the student wants to quickly master the basics that allow verbal and written communication in everyday life and work situations.
We offer courses at all levels (A0 – C2), including courses based on specialist language.
Basic Polish language course
The offer is aimed at people who are beginning to learn Polish and want to quickly master the basics allowing verbal and written communication in everyday life and professional situations. It will be based on all language skills (speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammatical correctness) with special emphasis on speaking. It is possible to continue the classes in the subsequent months.

Month-long Polish language course, A1-C2 level
The offer is addressed to those who want to continue learning Polish at the preferred level. Belonging to a group at a given level is determined by a placement test. At the end of the monthly module, a test is conducted to verify knowledge and learning progress.

Semester-long Polish language course, A0-C2 level
The offer is addressed to people who expect regular and systematic study of the language at the indicated level. Belonging to a group at a given level is determined by a placement test. Enrollment in the course is conducted twice a year, according to WAB’s semester schedule. At the end of the study, as well as during the course, tests are conducted to verify progress. It is possible to continue studying in successive semesters.

Preparation course for the certification exam
The offer is addressed to those planning to pass the Certificate Examination in Polish as a Foreign Language.
Course programme:
- presentation of procedures and requirements for the exam
- presentation of the structure and procedure of the individual parts of the exam
- discussion of the types of tasks occurring within each module
- presentation of strategies and tactics for solving exam tasks based on practical exercises
- discussion of how to avoid the most common mistakes made by the candidates
- quick revision of the material based on training of all skills (speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammatical correctness)
- simulation of an exam situation with special emphasis on the oral part
